When people think about Miami, they think of it as a party town. So when it came time to do a book, we decided that we'd make the research a bit of a partay by using three authors: Kaie, Jon and Jan. Though nightclubbing in South Beach isn't our thing, cruising along I-95 singing '80s ditties in a rented Jeep Liberty (they were out of PT Cruisers) rang our collective bell. In between off-key singing, we put together a guide that celebrates the intimate, the authentic and the eclectic in this shimmery town.
